تطبيق ملك الشعر لا يجمع أي بيانات ولا يحتاج شبكة مطلقا فكل عمليات التطبيق تجري محليا وعلى الجهاز فقط.

ولجلب بيانات الطقس ورادار المطر والخرائط، يتصل التطبيق بمواقع طقس عالمية موثوقة ولا يعلم التطبيق شيئاً عن سياسة خصوصيتها، ولا يقدم لها إلا إحداثيات الموقع لجلب بياناته المناخية، ويمكن منع تحديث الطقس داخل التطبيق.
